Analog Sets

Purpose

The Analog Sets form is used to assign directory numbers, circuit descriptor numbers, and interconnect numbers to ONS circuits.

Number

Enter a unique directory number (not assigned to any other device, hunt group, or feature access code) for the line circuit. Can be up to 1 to 7 digits in length.

Local-only DN

Allows you to specify the directory number as a local-only directory number in a cluster.

Enter the circuit descriptor number that defines the operational parameters of the line circuit (from the ONS/OPS Circuit Descriptors form).

Interconnect Number

Enter a number which will be used in the Interconnect Restriction form to define which other devices can connect to the ONS line. Can be in the range of 1 and the upper limit.

Non-Busy Ext.

Select "Yes" to indicate that the associated extension is a non-busy extension ( NBE). A NBE will never return a busy tone to the caller; each caller will automatically intrude and form a conference with any other users. Up to eight users may be conferenced together, and further calls are queued and allowed to enter the conference as current members drop out. The NBE cannot originate calls unless it is also programmed as a hotline extension.

NOTE: A non-busy extension requires a COS that has the conference option enabled.

Tenant Number

Enter the number of the set's tenant.

1 (landlord)

User PIN

Enter a password for the user PIN. The PIN can only include digits from 0 to 9 and can be from 0 to 8 digits in length.

Re-enter the password to confirm that it was correctly entered in the User PIN field.

Service Level

System-generated, protected field. Identifies the Service Level assigned to the device in the User and Services Configuration form.

NOTE: All devices added on this form have Full Service. Use the User and Services Configuration form to program other Service Levels.

 

Remote Group Pilot Number

Enter a valid prime directory number up to seven digits in length to be used as the pilot number for the Suite EHDU. The pilot number is the number dialed to access the suite.
